Mitchell Parrish, JD, RAC
Mitchell is responsible for planning and executing the strategic vision and direction for H Clinical, along with advising the leadership team on operations, business activities, and finances. He brings 17 years of experience in human subjects research, life sciences, organizational leadership, and corporate development. His leadership has led to the creation of successful global companies and collaborative cultures that positively impact patients.
Prior to H Clinical, Mitchell served as Managing Director of Everglade Rx, Executive VP and General Counsel at Advarra, and Associate Attorney at K&L Gates. Mitchell has served on the board of directors for Life Science Washington and the steering committee for Harvard MRCT. He is currently a faculty member for RAPS and the CITI Program. He is a published author on FDA regulations and frequent public speaker on issues impacting global clinical research.
Eulises Franco, MD
Eulises provides leadership for clinical operations, infrastructure, and service delivery. He brings 27 years of experience as a clinical research executive veteran. His knowledge of community engagement, localized patient recruitment strategies, collaborative patient support programs (PSPs), and successful trial execution is paramount to simplifying complex clinical research in Latin America.
His career encompasses extensive experience with well-known life sciences organizations, including Medical Director for Sanofi Genzyme of Central America and the Caribbean, Director of Clinical Operations at ICON LATAM, ICRO Manager at Novartis Mexico and Colombia, and has founded clinical research site organizations and CROs. He is a physician and an epidemiological researcher who is involved in the medical community of Mexico and CRO associations across Latin America.
Paloma de Almenara
Paloma oversees clinical operations and coordinates home visits in 22 countries for H Clinical, including staff resource utilization and training of care providers. She has 24 years of experience managing multi-country clinical research in Latin America and employing cutting-edge technology to support decentralized trials.
Her career has been focused on bringing promising products to market through traditional and decentralized clinical trial modalities. She previously served as Regional Head for CROs, and as a CRA, for companies such as Merck Sharp & Dohme and RPS (Research Pharmaceutical Services). Paloma’s passion is being involved in the development of patient-centric research in her native country of Peru and across Latin America.
Germán Maravilla, MD
Germán fosters longstanding client relationships, develops strategic partnerships, and builds collaborative alliances across the research ecosystem. He has 22 years of experience supporting the development and adoption of patient-centric services that have benefited novel and diverse populations across LATAM, including positions with Novartis and clinical research companies focused on vaccines and medical devices.
His credentials and expertise include several positions as Medical Director in the clinical research field. Germán previously was an associate physician at Centro de Psicología Integral de la Persona of the Universidad Finis Terrae. He was formerly on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Medicine and Psychology and is active in the medical field in Argentina.
Scott Smith
Scott advances and implements commercial strategies for H Clinical, including marketing, business development, and corporate development. He has more than 25 years of experience in devising solutions that cultivate growth for a range of business-to-business companies in the life sciences, healthcare, and technology sectors.
His leadership background includes VP and senior director roles for leading organizations such as Advarra and NRC Health. He has helped streamline post-acquisition operations while successfully integrating dozens of companies via mergers and acquisitions. He is an accomplished writer, speaker, and storyteller who is experienced in building brands and engaging diverse audiences.
Gabriel Maravilla
Gabriel manages the infrastructure network that supports clinical trials and home healthcare across 22 countries in Latin America, including depots, equipment and supplies, shipping, and technology. He has 19 years of experience running supply chain logistics, administering multi-country procurement, and supervising IT systems to support research operations in the field.
His leadership background includes COO of medical facilities in Latin America, as well as roles in IT and logistics consulting. He supported the largest decentralized clinical trial in the history of Latin America, coordinating the logistics and support for home visits across Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.
